Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation
In 2007, UNESCO recognised Noosa for its balance between people and nature with global designation as the Noosa Biosphere Reserve. The Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation (NBRF) is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Noosa Shire Council as the governing body to maintain Noosa’s biosphere reserve status. Its role is to develop ‘big ideas’ research and projects aligned with the aims of the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Program. NBRF works with stakeholders and community to enhance biodiversity conservation and promote sustainable living in Noosa.
Alison Jane Communications is engaged as the Media & Communications Advisor to lead and deliver the Foundation’s Communication Strategy. We provide strategic communications advice and planning, media relations, issues management as well as manage all external communications including media release writing and launches, e-newsletters, social media management, website strategy and writing, video production coordination, and event marketing. In 2021, we managed a brand refresh to help the Foundation strengthen its identity, communicate its priority areas and support its new fundraising strategy.
